This Privacy Policy explains how Convo ("we", "us") handles information when you use our website and online tools. We built these tools to work with as little data collection as possible - most of what happens, happens in your browser.
Files You Convert
Files you upload for conversion are sent to our server only to perform the requested conversion, then automatically and permanently deleted shortly afterward. We do not read, inspect, or retain the contents of your files beyond what's needed to process them.
Text-Only Tools
Tools like the Word Counter, Slug Generator, and similar utilities run entirely in your browser - the text you type or paste is never sent to our server unless the tool explicitly says it needs to look up a URL (such as the SEO analysis tools).
URL-Based SEO Tools
Tools that check a URL you provide (Meta Tag Analyzer, SSL Checker, robots.txt Tester, and similar) send that URL to our server so it can fetch and analyze the target page on your behalf. We don't store the URLs you check beyond what's needed to serve the request.
Local Browser Storage
Some tools (such as the Word Counter's auto-save and activity tracker) use your browser's local storage to remember your work between visits. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us - clearing your browser data removes it.
Cookies and Advertising
We may use cookies and similar technologies, including third-party services such as Google AdSense and Google Analytics, to display ads and understand site usage. These third parties may use cookies to personalize ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings.
Server Logs
Like most websites, our server automatically logs basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) for security, rate-limiting, and troubleshooting purposes. These logs are not used to identify individual visitors.

Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
